This fall we are planning for a significant event for Society of Internet Professionals (SIP) - our 17th Anniversary Party. The theme is Collaborations in the Internet Age.
The Internet has given a new meaning to the word openness by opening up all kinds of resources for collaborating, especially for start-ups.
This year we are turning the focus on you:
- Do you have such a success story of collaboration?
- Are you interested to give a presentation at this event?
- Will you like to learn the art of Event Management?

Please join us for an information meeting on August 6, 2015 at 4:30 pm.
We need volunteers (experienced or newbies) to manage tasks, such as:
- Registration,
- Food Table Coordination,
- A-V Equipment Coordination,
- Meet and Greet
- Speakers Coordinator,
- Photography,
- Videography,
- Social Media Input,
- Marketing,
- Promotion, etc.
All volunteers will receive recognition, a certificate of merit and free membership of SIP.

SIP Events Team Planning Meeting
Join our Event's Committee to do a dry-run of SIP 18th Anniversary Celebration

Time: 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Venue: Toronto Metro Hall, Room 303

Event Details
After a successful meeting of newly formed SIP Events committee, we want to take the planning to the next stage and wants to do a dry-run of SIP 18th Anniversary Celebration.
We will make this like a real event:
There will be Networking Segment. Just like sponsors every attendees will get an opportunity to display your brochures/resumes/services and your business cards.
We will set-up a registration table.
We will invite speakers to give presentation (let us know if you wish to present, LCD projector will be provided). We will also attempt to webcast.
There will a presentation of SIP’s Profile and History.
Volunteers with assignments will describe their:
- Plans
- Perception of the task(s)
- How they will implement them
- Resources required
