SIP Newsletter September 2009: Serendipity, Social Media & Health Care Costs

Hello All,

When Web 2.0 took off, we assembled a panel of experts last year to present its trends and approaches; this year we are finding Twitter and other social media are in lime light, so we are planning to bring a panel of experts to make you aware of its power.

We are pleased to welcome BENECAID, as a new corporate sponsor who has established a Health Spending Account program.

Currently we are raising funds for a deserving member of SIP by selling an inspirational book we trust you will sponsor this good cause.

Social Media & Social Networking Sites

Social media supports the human need for social interaction, using the Internet and web-based technologies to transform broadcast media monologues into social media dialogues. It supports the democratization of knowledge and information, transforming people from content consumers into content producers.

We wish to assemble a panel of experts (most likely on November 18, 2009) but first we would like to hear from you:
  1. What issues are on your mind?
  2. Will you like to be part of the panel?
  3. Do you know anyone who you think should be part of the panel?

Please email your thoughts, and as a token of thanks we will send you a Map of Social Media Sites.

For still others, this book may support them in dealing with life crises, such as a job loss, the loss of a loved one, or a chronic or serious illness, and foster the beginning process of inner healing.
