SIP Success at WowGao Wireless and Mobile Show
SIP Had Successful Participation at the Mobile Show Last Week
Many volunteers staffed the SIP booth and went around the show to spread the word. I must say they were efficient, wherever I went I was told SIP was already here and we have the Summit Card (good work, particularly Laura who has made me famous as "Uncle Max" at the show).
I think we all had fun, and some people won some prizes, and all volunteers had free lunch on Wednesday.
Our raffle for the book "Internet privacy" was won by Florence Liberski, Sales Manager, Airport Ramada Hotel, who collected the prize.
Michael Amaron from Vonage came to meet us on June 8, I am happy to announce that we have put together an Affinity program for their VOIP service.
Please check their service at:
http://www.vonage.ca/sipgroup/
There are four programs. For example:
The Vonage Basic 500 Plan provides the following for the unbeatable price of Canadian $19.99 a month:
* Feature rich phone line (Voicemail Plus, Caller ID with NameCall Waiting, Call Forwarding, 3-Way Calling, In-Network Calls)
* 500 outgoing minutes a month anytime to anywhere in North America
* Free phone adapter (no shipping charge)
* One month free
Please support SIP by supporting SIP´s affinity programs.
Thanks to all SIP’s volunteers, attendees, exhibitors, and organizers of WowGao's Wireless and Mobile show for their helpful contributions.
NEXT STEPS:
1. We need your participation at the InfoSecurity Show - June 20-21. Please let me know if you can do one or two shifts.
2. I hope you had a chance to reflect on the contacts you made at the Mobile show, please let me know your plan to follow up and how I can help.
3. My follow up list includes:
Institute Member
* HP Centre at Centennial College (I have already visited this center; it is a good venue for our networking meetings and workshop).
Speaker:

* Email photos to speakers and event sponsorship for HP
Affiliate/Partnership

Since we have spent considerable time in making these contacts, we should also follow-up sooner rather than later. Please send me your plan and let us discuss it by email and by phone. We discussed a post mortem meeting for this Thursday but have postponed it.
If you have any questions or comments, feel free to email (max@sipgroup.org) or phone me (416-891-4937).
